Fallbrook Union Elementary School District proudly announces the recognition of outstanding academic achievers and leaders, Sophia Woodworth and Masen Gilliland, both seventh-grade students at Mary Fay Pendleton School, chosen as the Rotary Students of the Month by the esteemed Rotary Club of Fallbrook.
The Rotary Club of Fallbrook holds in high regard the importance of acknowledging students who exemplify academic excellence and leadership within their school community. Each month, the club selects two exceptional students from a local school for their outstanding achievements, commitment to learning, and notable contributions to the school environment.
Sophia Woodworth has exhibited exceptional dedication to her studies and serves as a beacon of inspiration to her peers. Her consistent academic excellence, coupled with her innate leadership skills, has made her a deserving recipient of this prestigious recognition. Principal Brian Frost commended Sophia, saying, “Sophia is an exemplary student. She excels in school. She is well rounded in her extracurricular activities which include cooking and participating in the Civil Air Patrol. She is part of Mary Fay Pendleton’s lighthouse team and frequently leads campus events”
Masen Gilliland is recognized for his remarkable academic achievements and remarkable leadership qualities displayed within the school community. Principal Brian Frost remarked, “Masen is a hard worker and does very well in school. He is involved in community projects and leads through the Boy Scouts. He is a Ready, Responsible, and Respectful student. Masen is a leader on campus at Mary Fay Pendleton and takes an active role in campus events”
