Hello Mary Fay Family,

My name is Christine Manese or Ms. M and I am very excited to serve you as your full-time School Counselor at Mary Fay Pendleton School.

My role as a School Counselor is to improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program through academic, career, and social/emotional development (ASCA, 2020).

I support students through: 

• Individual counseling
• Guidance lessons in the classrooms
• Support groups for students
• Collaboration for intervention services
• Student monitoring (attendance, grades, and behavior)
• Connecting families to outside community resources for additional counseling support
• Program evaluation and development according to ASCA standards
